Okay, so I’m going to tell you about this little project I did. I decided to remake the Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag. Yeah, the one that’s been all over the internet. It’s like a blast from the past, a remake of an older design they did.
First off, I spent a good chunk of my time just scrolling through tons of pictures online. I was really trying to get a good feel for the bag – you know, the shape, the size, all those little details. This bag is based on their old mini hobo design, so it was kind of like playing detective, piecing together what it was all about.
Then, I started looking into what makes this bag special. The Re-Edition 2005 has this cool, adjustable strap, and it’s got the Prada logo on it. And get this—it even has a little coin purse attached to the strap! I was like, “Okay, that’s pretty neat.”
I noticed that this bag is actually a big deal because Prada re-launched it. It’s their iconic nylon bag from 2005. People seem to be going crazy for it. There were tons of articles online about whether it’s worth investing in or not. I guess it’s kind of a fashion statement.
- Now, compared to their fancy leather bags, like the Galleria and the Cleo, this one’s on the cheaper side. I saw that the nylon versions start at something like one dollar. I guess that makes it more accessible to people, which is cool.
So, after all that digging and figuring things out, I actually went ahead and started making the bag. It was quite the process, let me tell you.
After finishing the remake. I have to say, it turned out pretty well! I’m quite proud of how close it is to the original. This whole project was a lot of fun, and it really made me appreciate the design and history behind this iconic bag. I think this cool bag is making a comeback!
