So, I’ve been on this mission lately, trying to find a decent fake Rolex GMT-Master II. Not just any fake, but one that actually looks like the real deal. I’m talking about the “Root Beer” bezel version, which is pretty slick. After a lot of digging around, I finally landed on a website that seemed legit. I spent a couple of weeks looking, comparing, and reading reviews.
I went ahead and ordered one. It took about a week to arrive, which was a bit longer than I expected. But hey, good things come to those who wait, right?
When I got it, I was pretty stoked. First thing I did was check out that bezel. I examined it under different lighting conditions to see how it looked. It was actually pretty close to the authentic ones I’ve seen in pictures. Not perfect, but definitely passable. I spent a good hour just turning the bezel and listening to the clicks, which felt surprisingly solid. I also checked out the engravings on the case back, it was clean.
- Wore it out a few times, to dinner and to a friend’s party.
- Got a couple of compliments on it, which was cool.
- Tested the water resistance by wearing it in the shower. No issues there.
The watch actually keeps time pretty well, which is more than I can say for some of the other fakes I’ve seen. I set the time using my phone’s clock and checked it every day for a week. It only lost a few seconds, which is totally fine for me.
Comparing it to the Real Deal
Now, I’m not trying to fool anyone into thinking this is a genuine Rolex. I even compared it side-by-side with a friend’s real GMT-Master II. There are definitely some differences if you look close enough. The weight is slightly off, and the materials don’t feel quite as premium. But for the price I paid, I’m not complaining.
The cyclops is not that good, but the movement is really smooth. If you don’t look close enough you can’t tell the differences between this one and the real one. I think it was a good purchase, and I really enjoyed wearing it, it looks good on my wrist.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with this purchase. It’s a fun watch to wear, and it definitely turns heads. If you’re looking for a high-quality fake Rolex GMT-Master II “Root Beer” bezel, this one is worth considering. Just don’t expect it to be exactly like the real thing. That’s what I did with this watch, and I hope you can get yours soon!
