This here Jaeger-LeCoultre, that’s a mouthful, ain’t it? They call it Reverso Tribute Chronograph. Well, I seen a lot of watches in my day, but this one, it’s somethin’ else. You can flip it over! They call it a reversal. Fancy folks sure do come up with some things.

Now, I hear folks talkin’ ’bout this JLC Reverso Tribute Chronograph online. Seems like everyone wants one. They say it’s a real deal, this watch. And you can get it at an online store, imagine that! No need to go into town, I reckon. Just click, click, click, and it’s yours. Or so they say. This old gal ain’t too good with them computer things, though.
This Reverso watch, it’s got two sides. One side got two hands, simple like. The other side, well, it’s got more going on. They call it a Chronograph. Sounds like something out of one of them space movies, don’t it? I guess it’s for keepin’ track of time real good. For them folks who are always in a hurry.

I seen pictures of it. Shiny, it is. Looks like it’s made of good stuff. They say some are made of gold! 18K gold! Imagine that, wearin’ gold on your wrist. Must be nice to have that kinda money. I hear they cost a pretty penny, these Jaeger-LeCoultre watches. Some folks say they are four dollars, but that can’t be right. I remember buyin’ candy for four dollars when I was a girl.

They got different kinds, too. This one fella was talkin’ ’bout a Squadra World Chronograph. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? He said it was sporty but also for dressin’ up. I guess rich folks like to have watches for every which way they go. Me, I just need one to tell me when it’s time for supper.
They make a whole bunch of these watches, ’bout a hundred thousand a year! That’s a lot of tick-tockin’. Some are fancy, some are plain. They even make clocks. I seen a picture of a pretty one. But I bet it costs more than my whole house.
This Reverso Tribute Chronograph, it’s supposed to be somethin’ special. A promise, they say. A promise of what, I don’t rightly know. Maybe a promise to always be on time? Or a promise to make you look important? Who knows what them rich folks are thinkin’.

They used to have a cheaper one, back in the 70s. Called it the Club line. I guess that was for folks who didn’t have as much money. Even them were pretty, though. Shiny and all. This one I saw a picture of, it was a real looker. But still, probably cost more than my best Sunday dress.
They make all sorts of these Reverso things. Different materials, that’s what they say. Shiny stones and all that. And different faces. Must be a lot of work to make all them different kinds. They say these Jaeger-LeCoultre watches, they got a lot goin’ on inside. Little tiny parts, all movin’ together. Makes my head spin just thinkin’ about it. They also have these high complication movements. Sounds expensive!

I don’t know much about these fancy watches, but I know they’re somethin’ special. People sure do like ’em. And this JLC Reverso Tribute Chronograph, it seems like the best of the bunch. If you got the money, I reckon it’s a good thing to have. Me, I’ll just stick to my old watch. It tells the time just fine, even if it ain’t got no fancy flippin’ side or gold on it. They also have this quartz Reverso with two hands. Might be the cheapest one. This old gal don’t need all that. As long as it tells time, it’s good enough for me! I suppose. You just buy it at their online store. Easy.
