Okay, so, I got into this whole watch thing a while back. Started small, you know, just some cheap stuff to get the feel for it. Then, I found myself looking at the fancier ones, the ones with all the bells and whistles. That’s when I stumbled upon this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm thing. They call it “Classic Style.”
First, I started digging around online, reading reviews and stuff. People were saying it’s well-made and all that, which is good, I guess. But, you know, you gotta take those things with a grain of salt. I mean, who knows if those folks are being paid to say that stuff?
Anyway, I decided to check it out in person. Found a place that had one, and I went down there to take a look. It’s smaller than some of the other watches, which is kinda nice. I mean, I don’t want some giant thing hanging off my wrist, you know?
So, I’m looking at it, and it does look pretty good. It’s got all these little dials and buttons, which I guess are for the chronograph functions. I don’t really know how to use all that stuff, but it looks cool, I suppose.
Then there’s the whole price thing. These things ain’t cheap. But, I figured, if I’m gonna get one, I might as well get a good one. So, I started asking around about the price and all that. They say the best way is to get it appraised, but who’s got time for that?
- I talked to this one guy who seemed to know a lot about watches. He said this Speedmaster 38mm is a good one if you like the classic style.
- He also said it’s kinda like a smaller version of the Moonwatch, whatever that is.
- They first started making these in 2017, so it’s not like it’s some brand-new thing.
I ended up buying the darn thing. I mean, I was already there, and I figured, why not? It comes in different materials, like stainless steel and gold, but I just went with the stainless steel one. Seemed like a safe bet.
Now that I’ve had it for a while, I gotta say, it’s pretty nice. It feels solid, you know? Like it’s not gonna fall apart on you. And it keeps time pretty well, which is the main thing, right?
My overall thoughts?
This CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm, it’s a decent watch. If you’re into that classic style and you don’t mind the smaller size, it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared to shell out some cash, ’cause it ain’t cheap.
But hey, if you’re gonna treat yourself, you might as well get something nice, right? That’s what I told myself, anyway. And so far, I don’t regret it. It’s a good watch, and I’m happy with it. That’s all that matters, I guess.
