This bag, they call it Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. Sounds fancy, right? I saw it in the official flagship store. They say it’s a remake, whatever that means. Just a bag, but a real costly one.
My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I can still see that shiny gold thing on the front. They call it the “CASSANDRE”. Looks like a fancy Y, an S and L all mixed up. It is like, gold, shiny, and bright!
Real or Fake, Can You Tell?
They got all these tricks to tell if it’s a real one or a fake one. Like, look at the numbers inside. They say the real ones got a bunch of numbers all in a row. Fake ones got two rows. It’s all so confusing. Old ones got 12 numbers, new ones got letters and numbers. Who can keep up? I just know, if it is real, that price is high. If it is fake, it might be cheap, but who knows!
It’s all made of leather, smooth like a baby’s bottom. Got this chain, too, with a bit of leather where it sits on your shoulder. Makes it comfy, I guess. For that price, it better be comfy!

This JUNE BOX, they call it. Small little thing. You can fit your lipstick in there, maybe your keys. Not much else. But it’s all about the name, ain’t it? Yves Saint Laurent.

They say this Yves Saint Laurent fella, he started this whole thing way back in 1961. With his partner, whoever that was. Now it’s this big fancy company. They make all sorts of things. Dresses, shoes, you name it. But these bags, they’re something else.
Everybody wants one, I guess. Makes you feel special, like you got a little piece of that fancy life. Even if it just holds your chewing gum and your bus pass.
This YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s like all the other ones they make. Got that same gold thing, that YSL Cassandre logo. Big and bold, can’t miss it.
I saw a girl with one the other day. Young thing, all dressed up. She looked like a million bucks, even though her bag probably cost more than my whole house.
Just a Bag, But a Fancy One
It’s funny, ain’t it? How something so small can be so important. It’s just a bag, at the end of the day. But it’s more than that, I guess. It’s like a dream, all wrapped up in leather and gold. A dream of being someone else, someone fancier.
Me, I’m happy with my old purse. It’s got everything I need. But I can see the appeal, I guess. That little JUNE BOX BAG, it’s like a little piece of magic.
This remake thing, maybe it’s like they took something old and made it new again. Like an old song, sung in a new way. Still the same, but different.
They got different colors, too. Black, of course. But other colors, too. Bright ones, for the young folks.
This Bag is Everywhere
I see these YSL bags everywhere now. In the magazines, on the TV. All the fancy ladies got them. Even some of the regular folks, too. Saving up their pennies, I guess.
They say it’s an investment. Like buying gold or something. I don’t know about that. Seems like a lot of money for a bag. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady.
But even I can see that this Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG, it’s something special. Even if it’s just a remake, even if it is from the official flagship store. It is still something special, I can tell you that much.
Maybe one day, I’ll get one. Maybe for my birthday. A little treat for myself. A little piece of that fancy life. Who knows? A girl can dream, can’t she? Even an old girl like me. This bag, make me feel young. If you have money, maybe you should buy one. But if you do not, do not worry, just a bag.
