Alright, so, I’ve been messing around with this Rolex GMT-Master II, the left-handed version, you know, the one with the green and black bezel. They call it the “Southpaw” – pretty catchy, huh? This whole thing started because I saw this post online about a discontinued model, the 116718LN, with a yellow gold case and a full black ceramic bezel. It got me thinking, could I get something close to that, but, like, way cheaper?
So I started digging. I went down a rabbit hole of forums, blogs, and online shops, you know, trying to find a decent replica. It’s like a whole other world out there, with different levels of quality and, of course, different prices. You gotta be careful, lots of scams out there.
I finally settled on a place that seemed legit. They had good reviews, and the photos looked pretty convincing. The ordering process was a bit of a pain. They asked for lots of information. But I went through it, crossed my fingers, and hit that order button.

Still, I’ve been wearing it around, you know, just to see how it feels. People seem to notice it, I’ve gotten a few compliments. But I always tell them it’s a replica, wouldn’t want to fool anyone, you know. No one believe it is a real one of course.
So, yeah, that’s my little adventure with this high imitation Rolex. It’s not perfect, but for the price, it’s a fun little piece. If you just want the look for cheap, this is the way to go. But if you care about quality and being original, save your money and go for the real deal. Would I do it again? Probably not. But hey, it was a fun little experiment, and I learned a lot along the way.
